On July 1st 2009 we lost a very special person-Marion Weinstein passed away. We know she is with us in Spirit, but as always it is very hard to say goodbye when our loved ones leave the Earth. This page is a celebration of the joy she brought to life--a small, whimsical token of appreciation. Marion was such a light, I know that wherever she is today that all is well.

Marion's primary books, Positive Magic and Earth Magic, touched hundreds of thousands of lives and were distributed throughout the world. Her teachings centered around self- empowerment. Her message was clear: know that the magical power is within you. "The One Power that moves the Moon, moves through you. The Power that lights the Sun, lights your life." You can source it yourself and don't need anyone to do it for you...just use it According to Free Will and For the Good of All, "...through All Time and All Space." And you never have to give it away or let it be taken from you.

The picture on the left was taken by Marion's mother Sylvia. She was an amateur photographer, and in the later years of her life it brought Marion great joy to engage her in creative endeavors such as taking photos like this that would be used in Marion's work. This shot in particular was used for publicity. Many of Marion's books are dedicated to her mother.

On Saturday morning, October 31, 2009, Selena Fox and other Circle Sanctuary community members performed a memorial service for Marion as part of the Samhain Festival at Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve in Wisconsin.
